“Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community”
It was a Rakshabandhan with a difference as Students of Early Years and Primary wings at MRIS Charmwood celebrated the festival with important members of the community.
While Toddlers tied rakhis to the transport staff, Students of Nursery and KG visited the Police station at Surajkund to tie rakhis to police personnel. They also visited the Manav Rachna campus where the little stars tied rakhis to Smt Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI; Dr M.M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI and Dr Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI.
Students from the Primary wing visited an old age home Anadi Seva Prakalp, located in Pali village, Faridabad, and tied rakhis on the wrists of many senior citizens. Students who visited Anadi had the opportunity to get blessings and wishes from the senior citizens making this Rakshabandhan celebration a memorable one.
