We at MRIS, Ludhiana truly acknowledge the fact that each child is a unique individual and must be nurtured and encouraged to develop his/her potential. The school keeps organizing opportunities for experimental learning for the students.
An Edu trip was organized for the students of Grade IX to Verka Milk Plant at Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana. People these days have become health conscious and are eating nutritious food. A specially designed lunch menu was shared with the students. Special care has been taken to include cereals, Green Leafy Vegetables, Lentil, Dal, Rice, Curd, and salads so that the lunch is nutritious and meets the energy requirements of the students.
As a part of the celebration, an Inter House Quiz on Food and Nutrition was conducted for Grade I-IX. The quiz was divided into two segments: MCQ questions and Visual round. The quiz competition was related to healthy diet and the components of food which are required by the body the most. It also highlighted the harmful effects of processed food and junk food. The students participated enthusiastically. The knowledge gained by the students through this quiz is definitely going to help them in making the right choices in terms of food and living a healthy lifestyle.
