The Interact Club of MRIS, Charmwood organized their annual Diwali Mela, DASTKAR MELA under the aegis of Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation recently.
Students showcased their creativity by displaying self-made artefacts like Torans, Decorated Diyas, Candles, Table Rangoli, Stencils, a variety of chocolates and much more. Selling these items helped students learn the significance of managing time, money and dignity of labour. It also inculcates social values in students and promotes the habit of sharing and caring for others and working towards the betterment of society. The proceeds from the sale will be utilized to help various NGOs.
