Techxplore 2016

Techxplore 2016 saw an ideal amalgam of Science, Technology and Engineering

  • As many as 50 Teams and 150 Students are participating in 100 different activities.

Manav Rachna International School, Sector-14, Faridabad and Techno Planet collaborated to conduct Techxplore 2016. Mr. Amit Kohli, Group Director, Cadence Design System and Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, MREI, graced the occasion. Workshops and activities associated with Robotics, Robot Science, Electronics, Aero Modelling, Programming, and Gaming are being showcased at this fest.

The inauguration of Tech fest Techxplore 2016 began on an auspicious note with cultural programmes. Ms. Mamta Wadhwa, Principal, MRIS-14, addressed the audience and enlightened them about the Fest.

Congratulating the Students, Mr. Amit Kohli said, “This is the perfect medium for the students to grab opportunities for their bright future as these activities are bound to stimulate their imagination and intellect.” Addressing the participants, Dr. Amit Bhalla said, “The whole concept of technology is integrated into the lives of the students of Manav Rachna International Schools through Skill Lab.” He introduced Mohit and Manasvi, Alumni, MREI, the brains behind Technoplanet, a startup enterprise at the Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Centre.

Ms. Deepika Bhalla, Executive Director, MRIS-14, Dr. B.S Gill, Director, MRIIS, Mr. Sarkar Talwar, Sports Director, MREI, Mrs. Sanyogita Sharma, Principal, MRIS –Charmwood were also present at the event.

Robo Race sets pulses racing!

A team of Students from Satpaul Mital School, Ludhiana, is going to take part in the Robo Race. Aryaman and Sarijan from this team said, “We have worked hard for 2 months and made a Robot which can overcome all the obstacles.”

Electronic Trolley: Taking the load off !

The Students of MRIS-14 have made an electronic trolley. Aditya, Parth and Jeevesh from this team explained that this trolley could carry heavy load in the mall. They further added that individuals can board the Trolley while it carries the load. Lights have also been fitted on the sides to provide adequate lighting even during power cuts.

  • Game Development
