Outdoor play is essential for healthy growth, learning, development and wellbeing of the kids. Playing outdoor provides children a chance to explore the natural environment and experience various adventures. When the kids are outdoor they probably have more freedom for their movements, like running, jumping, kicking and throwing. Such physical activities are good for keeping healthy and physically fit.
Speculating this philosophy, Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana organised Obstacle Course for the kids of Bloomz and Toddlers. An area was set up with some obstacles like Hula Hoop #Agility Stepper #Count and Jump#Crawl and Run # ZigZag Move #Rabbit Hole #Sharpy Shark. Kids really enjoyed jumping their way out from the hoola hoops, balancing themselves on the stepper and the rabbit hole. Their excitement was proliferated when they ended the race by entering through the#shark’s body and coming out from the shark`s mouth.
During this activity the kids added some new words to their vocabulary such as crawling, hopping, zigzag, enter and balance. All together it was an enjoyable day for the Early Year kids with lots of fun learning.
