Encomium 2017, the prize distribution ceremony of the Primary and the Senior Wings of Manav Rachna International School, Charmwood was held on December 9, 2017 at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Media Studies to extol the feat of the students who have proved themselves different from others by adding various feathers to their caps of achievements. The ceremony aimed at appreciating the hard work put in by the scholars and also galvanising the other students. The successful students in various curricular and co – curricular activities were honoured in the function.
Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice – President, MREI , Mrs. Goldy Malohtra, Director, Academic Staff College and Administration, MRISs, Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Director, MRISs and Ms. Seema Malhotra, Principal MRIS- Sector 21- C graced the occasion with their benign presence. The guests were welcomed by the Principal, the Headmistress and the coordinators of the school.
The day commenced with the recital of shlokas which made the environment pious and ecclesiastical. The students of Primary wing expressed their deference to women empowerment through a Maharashtrian folk dance followed by the prize distribution ceremony. Dr. Amit Bhalla applauded the students’ efforts and motivated them to keep up the good work. Ms Goldy Malhotra and Ms. Sanyogita Sharma too inspired the gathering with their words of wisdom.
The finale dance by the students of primary and the middle wings was the perfect way to celebrate the proud moment and to motivate those who are striving hard to unearth their latent skills & talents.
The function was a big success and was concluded with the vote of thanks extended by Ms. Arpita Chakraborty, the Principal of the school. She congratulated all the students and their parents and thanked everyone who was a part of this ceremony.
