‘Teachers affect eternity, no one can tell where their influence stops’ -Henry B. Adams
Six students of MRIS-46, Gurugram Grade IV visited the Government Girls Primary School with their teachers at Badshahpur, Gurugram recently. This was in continuation with the support given to our adopted school, under the aegis of Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation.
The agenda of the visit was to encourage the children to speak in English. The girls in the class were in groups headed by a student from MRIS–46. We played a number of games like “Who am I” and “Simon Says” to encourage them to converse in English. An activity on the upcoming festival “Christmas” was also a part of this agenda. Children enjoyed the story behind the celebration of Christmas and decorating the Christmas tree. Our student volunteers did an excellent job in helping and guiding the students of the primary school, Badshahpur.
It was truly an enriching experience for both the students and teachers.
