Educational trips are a welcome break in the routine of students and make them self-dependent and flexible in their approach towards life. Keeping the interest of the students in mind, MRIS Charmwood organized a one day trip to National Museum, Delhi recently.
A group of around 140 students of GRADE VII went for the trip. Students explored the Gold and Bronze sculptures of GAUTAM BUDDHA; a temple made of Ivory with a throne studded with ruby, emeralds and diamonds, and decorative Art Gallery. Later, students explored gallery containing maps, bird and human figurines, and storage pots from Mauryan Harappan culture. Students enjoyed the trip a lot and took home loads of knowledge about the history of India and various civilizations in the past.
