“Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding.” -Robert John Meehan
In continuation of our untiring pursuit to promote the learning of concepts, Gallery Walk was organized by MRIS 51, Gurugram recently. Such events are a great way to get the students out of their seats, work together in small groups to share ideas and respond to meaningful questions, experiments and problem solving situations. Different IPC themes which the Early Years students have been enjoying thoroughly were picked up for the Gallery Walk. In different rooms and corridors, there were exhibits of intriguing experiments, wonderful water world, fascinating display of children’s work, tantalizing cooking corner, mesmerizing dance performances, melodious singing, rocking junk band and festivity flavor. Little Toddlers presented the captivating theme assembly in front of their parents. Parents also participated in Dancing feet, Fashion show, Give wings to your imagination and many more activities. Each guest was left dazzled by the enchanting exhibits that revealed the praiseworthy effort of the students. During the preparations, students gained a lot of confidence, problem-solving skills, enhanced their creativity, experienced team work and sharing.
The Gallery walk was an exciting and learning-filled experience for students.
