With the patriotic zeal and fervor, Manav Rachna International School, MRIS- 14 Faridabad celebrated the 69th Republic Day of India. A special assembly was organized for the students where the entire school reverberated with joy and pride of being an Indian. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland by presenting a stupendous dance performance and inspiring patriotic songs. The students shared the significance of the day and how it is celebrated all across the country. They saluted their country and felt great to be the part of such an integral, diverse and unique land.
The Vice Principal, Ms Monika Kathuria encouraged and reminded the children of their duties and responsibilities as the future nation builders. She said, “India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grand -mother of tradition. Our most valuable and most astrictive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only!”
The students who have won medals and certificates in various competitions were also appreciated by the Vice Principal on this momentous occasion and extended best wishes for all their future endeavors.
