Nursery & Grade I students went on an Edutrip to Mogly’s Farm, MRIS-51, Gurugram.

A farm visit is a beautiful way of giving our children an opportunity to develop a sense of wonder and joy for the natural world besides exploring how food is grown and how animals are raised. Education away from the classroom environment was invigorating when the students of Nursery and Grade I of MRIS-51, Gurugram went on a field trip to Mogly’s Farm recently.

Children enjoyed milking the cow, feeding the farm animals and meeting the South African guinea fowl, hens and cocks. They adored watching colourful bajaries, cute guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, pony, owl, furry sheep and lamb. Kids also learnt about the flora as they saw and touched various plants and trees while learning about their different stages of growth and looking at livestock farming. The little ones excitedly headed for a walk through the wholesome vegetable and fruit garden. The children were delighted to visit the farm’s play area which included swings, trampoline and a sandpit. Overall, it was a rewarding experience where children learnt how a farm works and could connect with their real life.
