We, at Manav Rachna International School, Sec-21, Faridabad always work to provide conditions which promote learning and theme assemblies are a good way to showcase the learning of students. The serene morning set the day and the assembly presentation ‘Odyssey’ paved the way for our students to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted to the moral values and unleash their vitality.
Two of our students from Grade I became the thread holders of the programme and pulled the show with much aplomb. Guided by their mentors, the well planned assembly conducted by the students of Grade-I showcased the fact that their learning is focused on Life Skills. Presentations such as ‘Everyone is important’ , ‘Save Water Save Life’, The story of ‘C’, skit on ‘Kindness’ and a street play on ‘Price Escalation’ gave the students the opportunity and platform to display their talent and present themselves as individuals.
The Principal of the school, Mrs. Seema Malhotra dwelled upon the importance of building a sound educational base by giving importance to moral and ethical values. She reiterated the fact that the teachers in partnership with parents can help in creating an ambience for learning that invigorates and unfolds the true potential of every child. She also congratulated the students for graduating to Grade II.
