Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind too. A fresh mind always does wonders when it is being surrounded by the positivity and zeal to excel.
With the tremendous success of previous session 2017-18, Manav Rachna International School, Sec-51, Gurugram yet again kick started its new session 2018-19 for Early Years with a lot of excitement, hopes, expectations and enthusiasm. The young learners were welcomed with Tilak and blessings of the God Almighty. It was a fun filled day with activities like making of welcome craft (cupcakes, hand fish and hand print flower), story sessions (The Tiny Chef, Pete the Cat, Gingerbread man and Bubbles Bubbles), story craft, sand play, dance and music. Children thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the day. A magic show was also organized for the students.
Welcome assembly was also conducted by the teachers which started with Gayatri Mantra, followed by school prayers. Children were excited to meet up with their old friends after the session break. They all enjoyed warming up with the song- I am so happy, animal exercise and performed on the Tooty Taa song along with the EY teachers. The assembly was a perfect amalgamation of fun, learning, exercising and dancing. It summed up with the school song and National Anthem.
It was indeed a great opportunity for the teachers to bond with their new children and be a part of their learning years.
