Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana celebrated Mothers Day-Spring Fiesta recently. On the occasion, mothers were invited for the musical morning which was symbolic of the various hues of life and joy. Dr. Rupali Trehan, Director of the school; Dr. Rupali Saini, Principal; Dr.Vaneet Kaur, Gynaecologist; Mr. Sunil Raj Vinayak, Fashion Designer and Mr. Karan Deol, Make-up Artist and Stylist graced the occasion.
The celebration was based on the theme Spring in which the spring season was beautifully depicted. The mother child duo came dressed according to the theme making the event authentic and relevant. From dance competitions, activities, Fashion Show to Felicitation Ceremony followed by Tambola & a plethora of fun games, made the function quite exciting for everyone. Students displayed their love through various activities such as they painted/wrote one reason for their love towards their mother. The same was locked in a beautiful wooden decorated frame and was sent as a take away craft.
The students of Grade VII-X felicitated their mothers adorned in beautiful pink Graduation robes and caps. The children presented their moms beautiful scrolls with heart touching message on this special day. Mothers also participated in several activities such as Ramp Walk. The moms as well as the students had a splendid time walking the ramp together and giving heart throbbing dance performances. It was a pleasure watching the super excited moms with their dynamic and energetic children beat the floor and it seemed that their childhood had retreated. The highlight of the event was the Photo Op which was specially designed as per the theme. The mothers and the children got their pictures clicked at the photo op cherishing beautiful memories of the evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rupali Saini said that mothers have always played a special role in each of our lives. Their unconditional love, support and the feeling of security is unmatched and one must not forget their duties towards their mothers who are an epitome of love.
