Hindi Diwas Celebrated

Hindi was adopted as the official language by the Constituent Assembly on September 14, 1949. So, with an aim to rekindle the love for India’s official language among students, MRIS 21- C Faridabad celebrated Hindi Diwas with great fervour. The celebration started from 9th Sept.2016 onwards with lot of competitions planned for Grade I-V. These competitions were first Intra class and then were conducted Inter class o 14th Sept.’16. A special assembly was organized also wherein the students were made to understand the difference between official and national language. The importance of this widely spoken language was stressed upon with the help of self composed poem by Hindi Teacher Ms.Sapna Chopra. Students were made to understand that Hindi speaking in their homes will enable them to cherish grandma’s tales and soothing lullabies. An array of competitions on this day included Dekhen aur Batayen for Grade-I, Hasya kavita for Grade –II, Katha Vachan for Grade-III,Doha Vachan for Grade-IV and Bhashan for Grade-V ( Topics were- Home work, Desh Seva or Videsh Seva(For and Against) It was indeed heartening to hear Grade V sharing their views confidently during the Debate Competition based on the above cited topics.
