Toddlers at MRIS Charmwood have been learning a lot about food over the past few months – from making yummy rainbow salad, fruit pizza, red salad, sunshine smoothie, butter sandwiches to sweet lassi and paneer – they have done it all.
Thus, to close the theme ‘It’s yummy’, a big feast ‘Daawat –e- Hindustan’ — a celebration of food and culture from our country was organized for the stars at Bharat Ratna Café & Lounge that was created especially for the occasion.
The children came dressed in clothes from various parts of the country and relished yummy food at different corners like: Punjab Grill, Dakshin, Rangeela Rajasthan, Ame Gujarati and Kuch meetha.
The highlight of the event was folk and classical dance presentations by the students of Grade 4. Director Principal, Ms Sanyogita Sharma and Headmistress, Early Years and Primary wings, Ms Jyoti Bhalla, were delighted to see the children eat healthy, nutritious and home cooked food and appreciated the efforts put in by everyone in organizing this colourful event.
