A workshop called ‘Fun with Science’ was organised for the students of Grade IV at MRIS- Charmwood. The Students were shown different Science Experiments in a fun and interesting way at the school’s Biology lab.

The young scientists saw the building blocks of a body i.e. cells using an onion peel under a microscope. They learnt about human skeleton as well as the way a heart function using different models and specimens. They were also informed about the importance of sense organs while eating food.

The students observed xylem in leaves using white petals, ink and water. They even viewed an experiment with water, paper cup and fire. With this the budding scientists learnt that when there is water in a paper cup it does not catch fire. However, it gets burnt when there is no water inside. All safety precautions were taken during the course of the workshop.

The students had an enriching session. They were amazed to observe the experiments and hands on activities.
