Children have an innate love for stories. A good story telling session can do wonders to a child’s imagination and can work at enhancing his or her expressions. It was this thought that led MRIS-46, Gurgaon to collaborate with the Korean Cultural Centre for a Story telling workshop which was conducted for the students of Grade -IV.
Korean Cultural Centre along with artists from theatre troupe ASSITEJ gave a glimpse of Korean Fairy Tales to the students in the most entertaining manner. The artists brought the different antics of theatre to have a captivating effect on the students. The session gave the students a magical and memorable experience that will stay with them beyond the classrooms. Storytelling is a unique way for the students to develop an understanding, respect and appreciation for other cultures and can promote a positive attitude for people from different lands and races.
