The students of Grade IV Arctic, Grade II Aravali, and Grade II Everest presented a colourful and enriching assembly on Dusshera and Navratris in the school on 7th October, 2016. Dr Amit Bhalla, VP, MREI, and Mr. Jitesh Malhotra, Asst. commissioner of police, were the Guests of honour on the occasion.
The programme began with a talk on importance of Navratris followed by a dance drama ‘Mahishasur Mardan’. The students of Grade II Aravali and Grade II Everest then enacted the epic Ramayan with great confidence and enthusiasm, depicting the life of Lord Ram, his wife Sita, brother Laxman and companion Lord Hanuman.
The beautiful presentation was magical and mesmerized one and all present at the courtyard. The slaying of demon king Ravan by Lord Ram highlighted the victory of good over evil. Dr Amit Bhalla, congratulated the students for putting up fabulous and energetic performances. He also lauded the hard work put in by the teachers and complimented them by calling them ‘Magicians’.
Ms Sanyogita Sharma, Director Principal and Ms Jyoti Bhalla, Headmistress, Early Years and Primary wings, complimented the students for their tremendous effort and wished one and all on the occasion of Dusshera.
