Manav Rachna International School, Noida joined hands with CBSE to be a part of noble initiative of Teachers Training Programme across NCR. Capacity Building Workshop for Class 10 Social Science was held recently in the school premises in which more than 60 teachers from NCR participated. The workshop was organized to train teachers in dealing better with the challenges faced by students and to make teaching- learning process more effective for Social Science teachers of Grade-X.
The resource person Mr. Dhiraj Singh, a renowned personality associated with CBSE since 2014 familiarized participants with the concept of Multiple Intelligence and guided them in effective planning of lessons. He emphasized that the teacher can facilitate learning by creating a lively, playful and experiential learning environment in the classroom. A new concept of SMART (Specific-Measurable-Achievable-Relevant-Time bound) was discussed. The session was made interesting with activities and real life examples. These activities act as invaluable teaching aids as per the resource persons.
The session concluded with the distribution of participation certificates to the participants.
