SPACE as a premier organization to propagate Astronomy and Space Science in young minds of India, celebrates World Space Week as the largest celebration of public space event in the month of October.
During this week, numerous exciting programs were organized at different levels on Astronomy and Space Science for the Enthusiasts. Students of MRIS, Noida were a part of this session based on NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar), a collaborative satellite designed by NASA and ISRO to observe and take measurements of some of the planets’ most complex processes, including ecosystem disturbances, ice-sheet collapse, and natural hazards such as earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes and landslides. The students and faculty of MRIS, Noida got a chance to interact with the eminent representatives in person and visited the models exhibited by ISRO at the venue.
