Anatomy of Dots Workshop

MRIS-46 brought a touch of something unexpected and colourful in the form of dot-artwork, a unique workshop, under the expert guidance of Nilanjana Nandy, a local artist who has been creating her own Indigenous, traditional and Aboriginal dot art paintings. The workshop, conducted recently in the school received an overwhelming participation from various schools of Gurgaon. Some of them included DAV-sector 14 and 48, DPS- Sushant Lok, Bal Bharti, Manesar, Amity- sector 46. Dot artworks, also termed as Anatomy of dots are the paintings created for educational and ceremonial purposes. The vision, quality of execution in the mediumand the use of composition to communicate their vision were the main focused areas of the paintings done by the students in the workshop.
