The Interact Club of MRIS- Charmwood organized a Diwali Crafts Mela in the school recently wherein the Students displayed beautiful self-made artefacts for sale like Wall Hangings, Decorated Diyas, Candles, Torans, Rangoli colours, Stencils, Chocolates, Muffins and much more. The students displayed their creativity by creating beautiful items for the Diwali festival and then sold them, thereby learning the importance of labour and finances. Students and the staff of the school made it a great success by purchasing these items. The proceeds from the sale will be utilized to help the school support staff and the students of ‘Anubhav Ek Ahsaas’ school for which MRIS-Charmwood is the Saarthi School. The purpose of creating such an activity is to inculcate social values in the students and promote the habit of sharing and caring for others– working towards the betterment of the society.
