MRIS, Noida organized a Space Workshop on ‘Discovering the Skies’ for the Students of Grades I and II in the School campus here today. It was organized to solve the queries related to celestial bodies. Through the workshop, they explored the Universe and able to differentiate between natural objects, heavenly objects and manmade objects. The students participated in various hands- on activities.
Another workshop on ‘An interview with the Sun’ for the Students of Grades III, IV and V was organized. Herein, Students interviewed the Sun to understand various facts such as size, shape, distance etc. They observed the Sun through filtered telescope, telescopic projection, ball projector, solar view goggles and pinhole projector. All the Students enjoyed this interactive and interesting session.
