TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) conducted The GREEN Olympiad in MRIS, Noida. The exam was conducted by TERI’s Educating Youth for Sustainable Development (EYSD) team.
The objective was to create awareness and inspire the youth to be a part of solutions to local and global environmental challenges.
The programme was based on environmental themes like Water, Waste, Biodiversity, Climate change, Energy and Sustainable development. Olympiad is designed in an innovative manner to test the knowledge. It aspires to develop human resources, regional and national action plans to sensitize Schools on the need for environmental protection. Anushka Malhotra (G4), Akshita Chaudhri (G4), Nandini Goyal (G6), Syna Kapoor (G6), Ragini Chaudhari (G7), Aahana Durge (G7), Ansh Singhal (G8), Pratham Bagga (G8), Abhinandan Dewedi (G9) were among the merit holders.
