India is a land of many cultures. These cultures blend into each other seamlessly. Each region has its own way of celebrating New Year usually when the crops are harvested. In Punjab, this day is celebrated as Baisakhi. To give an insight of this beautiful blend, the Students of MRIS, Ludhiana celebrated Baisakhi through a special assembly.
The day started by seeking the blessings of the Almighty. The significance of Baisakhi was highlighted through a beautiful poem. Colourful dance performance was the highlight of the celebration. Students were also apprised with the components of Punjabi attire to keep them connected with their cultural roots.
