Empowering Students to acquire the skills and techniques to identify unsafe situations and to react appropriately is our prime responsibility. Keeping this in mind, the School counselor of MRIS-51, Gurugram conducted a session for KG Students on Stranger Danger and Safe Touch,Unsafe Touch, as a part of the ongoing theme ‘All about me, my family and community’ from April 28 to May 2, 2017.
The sessions comprised of role plays and power point presentation, to help children identify people in their safe circle and ways to save themselves from unsafe touch and strangers. Children listened carefully and were able to recapitulate at the end of the session. The children were also shown a couple of videos for their better understanding.
