Manav Rachna International Schools (MRIS) -46, Gurugram felicitated all its scholastic achievers from the academic session 2016-17 in a glittering function on 20th May, 2017. The All Rounder and Proficiency awards were given to the Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary students.
Ms. Dhriti Malhotra, Principal welcomed the Chief Guests and the Executive Director, Mr Sunny Bansal.
Mr. K.V. Gautam, eminent cartoonist, illustrator, author and motivational speaker was the Chief Guest for the Primary Wing achievers. The Senior School Proficiency were given away by Shri Vinay Pratap Singh, IAS, ADC cum CEO, DRDA, Gurugram. Both the eminent guests shared their experiences as school students. They encouraged the students to follow their dreams and passion.
The school orchestra enthralled the audience with their foot tapping rendition of Baar baar haan. The room reverberated with the beats of the drums enthusing each one to aim higher and come out stronger. The graceful dances on the Shakti and the Arabian dance had the entire audience clapping and cheering for the performers.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks for all the Staff members who made the Awards ceremony a success.
