Toddlers celebrate Independence Week : Faridabad Charmwood

independence (3)The stars of Toddlers at MRIS CHARMWOOD have been participating in fun and interesting craft activities to celebrate Independence Day. The children did impression with colours of the Indian flag, played with tricolor gloop and made 3D tricolor ice cream cups. These activities helped the Toddlers develop their motor skills as well as recognize colours of the Indian flag.

independence (2)Students of Grade 3 Africa at MRIS CHARMWOOD presented a special assembly on Independence Day in school on Wednesday, August 10.

Director Principal Ms Sanyogita Sharma and Headmistress Early Years and Primary wings Ms Jyoti Bhalla hoisted the national flag.

The children spoke about the significance of Independence day and how leaders struggled for it. They also spoke about how we should strive towards becoming responsible citizens.

The students also gave a musical presentation on social evils like corruption and dishonesty.

KG Independence Day Special Assembly: Faridabad Sector 14

independence 1‘Freedom in the mind, faith in the words, Pride in our hearts and memories in our souls, Let’s salute our nation on Independence Day!’

After holding the exciting Kite Flying Festival for Bloomz, it was time for KG-1 and KG-2 to pay their respects to the Indian soldiers. The occasion was graced by the presence of Principal, Ms. Mamta Wadhwa; Headmistress, Ms. Monika Kathuria and the members of the Academic Excellence Team Mr. Kevin and Ms. Reena Bana. The Kinder Garteners sang the inspiring song ‘Hindustan Meri Jaan’ and performed a dance number “Pagdi Sambhal Jatta” with full energy and enthusiasm which even got the audience dancing.The little ones dressed up as great freedom fighters like Gandhiji, Nehruji, Bhagat Singh and Rani Laxmi Bai who contributed in the freedom of our country. They walked on the stage confidently, reciting slogans and spreading the message of peace and non-violence. The children also took oath to take care of their country, their surroundings and the people. Ms. Mamta Wadhwa praised the children and felicitated Shaurya Maheshwari of class KG-1 for securing the second position in ‘Beginners Roller Skating Meet’.

To instill a feeling of patriotism and make the children more aware of the innumerable sacrifices made by the great leaders, a Special Assembly was also conducted by classes KG-1 and KG-2.

 

Independence Day Celebrations at Bloomz

MRIS Sector 14 Bloomz celebrated this independence day with a dash of patriotism. The highlight of the event was kite flying with daddy. Parents were welcomed with tricolour badges and bindis while the children were welcomed with tricolour bangles and wrist bands. The headmistress Mrs. Monika Kathuria welcomed the parents with warm greetings followed by Gayatri mantra and a prayer .Fathers got nostalgic while flying kites and were sent back to their childhood days. The day was marked with slight drizzle but it did not dampen their spirits. They participated enthusiastically in various activities like tug of war, football with daddy, just a minute round like banana eating, juda making , singing rhymes with little ones and many more. Last but not the least the event ended with a patriotic song sung by our lovely teachers. Parents relished yummy tricolor snacks and waved goodbye with a big smile. It was indeed a wonderful day.
