In consonance with this thought, the toddlers at Manav Rachna International School, Sec-46, Gurugram (MRIS-46) during the theme ‘On The Move’ went for a ride in the school bus to identify the different vehicles in the vicinity. To make the learning more exciting, teachers brought their cars inside the premises for children to explore. They were enthralled to see their teachers explaining the parts of the car and the school bus as they sat in them.
The Kindergartners also learnt about ‘Land and People’ through experiential activities like wheel impression, reading a map for treasure hunt, and making a passport. These learning strategies enabled children to enhance life skills, ability to observe, think and rationalize.
