Kush Chugh of MRIS-14, Faridabad felicitated for his exemplary performance at Khelo India School Games 2018
In recognition of the exemplary feats of the budding sportsmen of Haryana at the recently concluded Khelo India School Games 2018, the portals of Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh felicitated the young medalists in a grand ceremony celebrating their excellence in sports. The mega sporting event exhibited the dauntless efforts of the young talents at the competition who brought accolades galore by clinching the highest medal tally.
Kush Chugh and other achievers were felicitated by Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Haryana; Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister of Haryana; and Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma, Minister of Education, Haryana for the brilliant display of their grit, determination and indomitable spirit at the games.
Kush Chugh, a student of Grade XII at Manav Rachna International School, Sec-14, Faridabad was conferred the top honor for his spectacular performance in Badminton Men’s Doubles [Under-17 category], winning him a Bronze medal at the event. Undergoing competent training at the hands of seasoned coaches at Manav Rachna Sports Academy, Kush has proved his mettle at the sport in both regionals and nationals in the past. Attributing his success to his never-say-die spirit, the teen icon gleamed with pride on adding another feather to his cap.
Outlining the role of sports in inculcating team spirit, developing strategic and analytical thinking, and leadership skills, Prof. Solanki encouraged the youth to continue to harness their potentials to propel India into becoming a Sports Super Power. Transcending all limitations, the outstanding accomplishments of the zealous young risk-takers is indeed an inspiration to all the sports enthusiasts far and wide.
