We, at Manav Rachna, believe that fun and recreation are as important in a student’s life as learning and academics. Keeping the same in mind, students of Grade III-VI of Manav Rachna International School, Sec-21C, Faridabad visited Chandigarh for a day. They visited Chatbir Zoo, Sukhna Lake, and Rock Garden to name a few. The excitement was evident right in the morning (5 am) when the students arrived at school, and was at its peak when they reached Chandigarh with their teachers and support staff. Students were served sumptuous breakfast on the way. It was so much fun to watch the students enjoying zoo visit.
After lunch, the children enjoyed the views of fantastic rock garden and Sukhna lake. The excitement did not die away even till the time they reached back school as they still looked energetic, excited and ready to share their fabulous experience of day with their parents. Such trips, besides being fun, also inculcate in children personal, social, emotional skills, team building, and competitive spirit. All in all, it was a day full of fun and memories to be cherished forever.
